Classic. was founded in 2016 by brand owner and creative director, Marie Carter a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and TSU alum. As a former educator, Marie’s mission is to preserve culture like art in a museum. Original designs teach and pay homage and show “the culture” was never just a trend. “A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree with no roots”-Marcus Garvey
