Founded by Pamela Sherrod, P. Sherrod & Co. was shaped long before its first handbag was created. Growing up surrounded by stylish, ambitious women, the brand’s founder learned early that personal style could be an expression of confidence, creativity, and intention.
Her mother, a sixth-grade teacher and talented seamstress, filled their home with fabric, patterns, and the sound of sewing machines crafting everything from school uniforms to special-occasion pieces by hand. Those early lessons in craftsmanship and thoughtful presentation stayed with her. Years later, a trip to Colombia and an encounter with a family-owned leather artisan brought those influences together and helped inspire P. Sherrod & Co.
