The Village Retail Return & Exchange Policy

Refunds & Returns

Items returned in-store or by mail will be refunded to the original form of payment.

  • Shipping costs (including regular and freight shipping) are non-refundable.

Debit & Credit Card Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
  • If the original payment card is no longer valid, a The Village Retail gift card will be issued for the refund amount.

In-Store Returns With Receipt (7-Day Policy)

Refunds are available for eligible items purchased within 7 days of the original purchase date.

Requirements:

  • Item must be unused, in new condition, with all original tags attached
  • A valid receipt is required
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

In-Store Exchanges Without Receipt (8–14 Day Policy)

Exchanges may be accepted for eligible items purchased within 8–14 days without a receipt.

Requirements:

  • Item must be unused, in new condition, with all original tags attached
  • A valid government-issued photo ID is required
  • ID must match our records for the exchange to be approved

Exchange Options:

  • Exchange for another item of equal value
  • Receive a The Village Retail gift card for the item’s value

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Worn, washed, damaged, used, or altered items
  • Items missing original designer/vendor/creator tags or packaging
  • Items with smoke or pet hair
  • Discontinued designer/vendor/creator products

Items That Cannot Be Returned

  • Vitamins & CBD products
  • Gift cards
  • Perishable food items
  • Personal care & beauty products, including but not limited to:
  • Shampoos, conditioners, soaps, deodorants
  • Body butters, body oils, beard care
  • Face products and makeup
  • Swimwear
  • Earrings
  • Any worn items

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel any order once it has been submitted and/or obtains a tracking number. If you do not wish to keep the package, you may refuse it upon delivery to be returned to the business merchant. Most importantly, contact the business directly and  refer to their policies.

Yes, we will rotate brands every 4-6 months.

We look at a number of things: brand quality, uniqueness of product and overall business acumen. Brands must have experience with inventory management.
