Our Story

Brown Toy Box is an educational toy company creating toys, books, games, content and experiences that center and celebrate Black children through STEAM education, purposeful play and cultural representation in a manner that all children can have fun and enjoy. 

Brown Toy Box's first toy line centers the Dadisi Academy Crew, fun and engaging characters that represent various STEAM themes. The characters are students at the Dadisi Academy, school for curious learners, and they represent children from across the global Black diaspora.

Dadisi means curious in Swahili and Brown Toy Box is working to cultivate curiosity in children through fun and play.
